Lectoine® Cream is a medical device which contains Ectoin® (an innovation developed by Merck), a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing and membrane-stabilizing properties, used for:

  • Treatment of mild atopic dermatitis.
  • Treatment of moderate and severe atopic dermatitis in combination with topical cortisone and immunomodulators.
  • Treatment of atopic dermatitis (alone) where topical cortisone and immunomodulators are contraindicated.
  • Prevention of atopic dermatitis relapse (maintenance therapy).
  • Prophylaxis treatment for sensitive skin.
