Lectoine® Cream is a medical device which contains Ectoin® (an innovation developed by Merck), a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing and membrane-stabilizing properties, used for:

Treatment of mild atopic dermatitis.
Treatment of moderate and severe atopic dermatitis in combination with topical cortisone and immunomodulators.
Treatment of atopic dermatitis (alone) where topical cortisone and immunomodulators are contraindicated.
Prevention of atopic dermatitis relapse (maintenance therapy).
Prophylaxis treatment for sensitive skin.
